co-production

Our methodological approach in achieving co-production starts with friendly conversation with community members. Through listening and observing without an initial goal in mind we establish trust and friendship from which we can build relationships. Participant observation through the lived experience by staying nights over gives us a glimpse of the daily routines of living in an informal settlement. It is through these experiences that we formulate our research problems that form the starting point of further developments for settlement upgrading.
